The Canadian and British Divisions with the cooperation of the French, German and Belgium Divisions are proud to bring you Atlantic Crossing V
You are invited to fly between Europe and Canada on Sunday 17th September
Air Traffic Control is promised at the following Airports for your Departure
Frankfurt Main
Paris Charles de Gaulle
Brussels National
Heathrow International
For your arrival Toronto Lester B Pierson International will be open and fully staffed.
As suggested by some of those that took part in the last Crossing we have increased the number of Oceanic Controllers to avoid delays in the passing of position reports.
Plan your flight to enter Oceanic Airspace between 1300Z to 1500Z. Flights that enter before 1300Z are not guaranteed Air Traffic Control.
Once you have crossed over into Canada you will be given full ATC, within the Toronto FIR alone there are six Centres.
All pilots must be familiar with the Procedures for crossing the Atlantic.
Invalid Oceanic Flightplans will be denied Clearance!
Oceanic Clearance should be obtained 45 minutes before entering North Atlantic Airspace at http://occ.ivao.ca/
Today’s NATs can be found here http://ivao.co.uk/eggx/live_nats.php
If there is a delay in the taking of your report continue to contact your Controller by Voice, Chats/Messages are easily missed and standard text messages are reserved for Pilots unable to use Voice.
